Sdfsdf, the best advice I ever received can be summed up in one word: "listen".
Back when I was lost and confused and before I understood I was highly sensitive, I knew I had the ability to deeply listen. It helped me land jobs, new housing and loads of opportunities I was told I would never be able to get or do.
It's how I excelled as a high school teacher and how I managed to start a business with only a paper-thin certification and 6-months of bare-bones income saved in the bank and to grow it into a consistent 7-figure mission.
Still to this day, it's the Highly Sensitive Strength I call on the most when mentoring other Highly Sensitive Entrepreneurs and Leaders. My first objective is to deeply listen in order to deeply serve.
Today we are all finding our way forward in this new world with so much change, so much unpredictability, so much loss, and such intense feelings coming from so many people in so many ways. Just day-to-day living is a trigger for our deepest, darkest, Highly Sensitive Shadow of overwhelm.
So, the commitment to be in consistent core practice of mastering our highly sensitive strengths, such as deep listening, is important now more than ever.
