Now, there's been plenty of people who have argued the semantics of whether this is what it takes to be an expert or a phenomenon or blah-blah-blah. Rather than getting caught up in hashing out the details I took in that research and used it as balm for my heart and soul.
See, at that time I had been self-employed for about 5 years and I didn't yet know I was a highly sensitive person. Everything was feeling really, really hard.
Yet, I knew deep down I was on the path of my calling and thought to myself, if the Beatles could practice and play the same songs over and over for years in back alley bars of Hamburg then I could continue to practice as well.
I know it can be misleading in this day and age of IG Influencers to fall prey to the idea of "overnight success", but for those of us who are Highly Sensitive Entrepreneurs , Sdfsdf, we are typically here to contribute deep and wide. Meaning, significantly and for years to come.
So, if you're questioning whether you can "do this" take heart, play a Beatles song, and line up support for yourself so you can learn to release the highly sensitive shadow of perfectionism and instead set up consistent core-practices that will get you to where you're meant to be.
XO. Heather
P.S. Need help, Sdfsdf? I wanna hold your hand (sorry couldn't resist :)) - click here and let us know a good day and time to connect for a one-on-one chat. Looking forward to it :)
