What's Happening with Heather

Even though I've always loved this "back to school" time of year, it also brings back memories of how going into any new group of people made me so incredibly nervous (I was a really shy kid!). I guess that's why I'm still celebrating the recent in-person Acceleration Retreat day I hosted for a special, select few members of the Business Miracles Community.

Not only did we effortlessly unlock blocks that were getting in the way for each HSP in attendance, but there was joy in the natural, easeful connections between members.

I feel beyond grateful every day that I've created this sacred, safe community where HSPs can come together, be seen, heard, and genuinely supported by other HSPs just like themselves.

Today's HSP Business Tip: The Impact of Personal Connections

In a digital world, in-person connections can transform your business and deepen relationships. Despite all the social media channels, marketing tools, and influencers, good old word-of-mouth marketing outperforms all other types of marketing by a milestone. This means that connection truly is key.

According to recent statistics, word-of-mouth marketing is 37% better for retaining customers and has a 25% higher conversion rate than other forms of advertising.

Face-to-face engagement taps into the full spectrum of human interaction—seeing, hearing, and feeling the energy of those you meet. HSP's strengths shine in these moments, building trust and rapport that lead to lasting business relationships and opportunities.

Keiya Rayne's Success Story

Allow me to share a recent experience from one of our amazing members, Keiya Rayne. Keiya is a Master Intuitive Healer, Spiritual Life & Business Advisor, and TEDx Speaker.

She recently participated in an exceptional in-person event where she felt fully grounded in her "Regal Queen" and Highly Sensitive strengths. Despite feeling a bit nervous, she used the nervous system management tools I teach and came to a place within herself where she was excited and confident, receiving positive feedback from the attendees.

Towards the end of the event, Keiya felt like she could have articulated a point more clearly, which led to some very common HSP self-criticism and judgment. However, she used the Self-Assessment process I teach to navigate her feelings.

Keiya welcomed the feelings of perceived failure and imperfections, particularly challenging for us HSPs. By experiencing and moving through these emotions, she realized she would be okay. This experience turned into a fantastic learning opportunity for continued business growth and expansion, sparking her interest in returning to public speaking.

As a result, Keiya booked a new speaking engagement, proving that stepping into her HSP strengths and being willing to show up to make in-person connections continues to create incredible business opportunities for her.
