Your guide to leading with self-love

image

Hello Sdfsdf,

Self-love isn't a destination. It's not a luxury, or a reward for reaching a milestone or accomplishing a goal. Self-love is a journey and a necessity for HSPs in business and leadership.

Luckily, it's not as difficult as it may sound. It's a process that can be practiced daily and cultivated from within. While we've found success practicing this art within a wonderful community, there are steps you can take as an individual to get started. We're including them in this email!

What's Happening with Heather

As I'm getting ready to lead my upcoming annual week of planning with my Business Miracles Team I've been reflecting on our team mission which states, "We are honest and honorable. We live up to our word, do our work well, treat each other and others with respect and generosity". It's the cornerstone to everything we do.

I've never been one to believe that business has to disregard the humanness of work in service to the bottomline. Walking my talk in this way is what gets paid forward to every Business Miracles member and has them creating success on their own terms with a whole lot less effort, too.

Today's HSP Business Tip: Creating a Morning Routine

Creating a morning routine centered on self-reflection and gratitude sets the tone for a productive and time-balanced business day. For Highly Sensitive Leaders, this practice nurtures self-love, grounds your energy, and helps you lead with clarity and intention. Here's how you can make the most of your mornings:

  • Journal with Purpose: Spend 5–10 minutes reflecting on your goals, emotions, or wins from the previous day. Use the tools I teach in the Highly Sensitive Entrepreneur Training Kit: Stop the Overwhelm.
  • Set Daily Intentions: Choose one or two priorities to focus on that are aligned with your values and purpose.
  • Practice Gratitude: List 3–5 things you're grateful for, reminding yourself of the abundance already in your life.
  • Move Your Body: Engage in gentle stretching, yoga, or a short walk to energize your mind and body.
  • Breathe and Meditate: Dedicate a few minutes to deep breathing or mindfulness to center yourself before diving into your day.

This routine isn't just about HSP business leadership productivity – it's an act of self-love, helping you honor your own HSP circadian rhythm so you can show up as your best self in all areas of business and life. It can start your day off in a manner that grants you more productivity and more time.

Empowerment is another act of self-love in leadership – one that pays off, as you see it did with Heather Z.! She was able to use the guidance of the Highly Sensitive Leadership Program to find more time in her schedule thus creating more income and impact with less effort.

"In just my first few months with the Highly Sensitive Leadership Training Program, I'm shifting from "pushing" to "empowered" following Heather's teaching of division of time. I blocked SIX hours (which I never knew I had!) for deep focus projects, plus 5 hours for another project, and 4 hours for a third. After sharing this blocked time scheduling with my team, I realized that even with preserving sacred time for my deep focus work, AND holding personal time at the start and end of each day for Mama-flexibility, I still have more than 60% of my schedule open for client/team meetings, and am in no way making myself "unavailable". Feeling empowered, and this is just the beginning!"

This Valentine's Day, treat yourself by scheduling a complimentary clarity call to learn how to practice self-love in leadership and thrive in your business.

XO.

Heather
