Instead of chasing, think of it as extending a steady, compassionate hand. For prospects who are caught in fear or hesitation, your consistency becomes an act of service. With structure in place, follow-up shifts from something you dread into one of the most soulful and supportive parts of your business. What's Happening with Heather Last week, I led yet another incredible in-person transformational Quantum Leap Retreat for select HSP members of the Business Miracles community. Our focus was COURAGE. As HSPs in business and leaders, we are meant to be bravely stepping up and out in the world now more than ever. This had me thinking about when I first started my business, following up with prospects who weren't ready to say or even schedule a first session scared the living daylights out of me. It went against everything I was trained to be as a child and young woman: don't stand out, avoid conflict at all costs, and being bold will make you a target. Yet, as I learned to shift my mindset into one of being of true service rather than servitude, I began to understand what a disservice my lack of follow-up actually was to people that I could help. Learning I was HSP made follow-up even easier. I started to realize not only that I could, but I was meant to use my unique HSP strengths, such as intuition and empathy, to reach out with a genuine, kind hand extended with an invitation for positive change. Now, 22 years later, I've had more prospects than I can count. THANK ME for following up and express deep appreciation for how their business, leadership, and lives have changed for the better because I was willing to be bold. This Week's HSP Business Tip: Compassionate Follow-Up Builds Connection As HSPs, we are wired for deep empathy, which is why it can feel so uncomfortable to "chase" someone. But compassionate follow-up isn't chasing; it's an act of service. When you stay steady, you create safety for someone who is often battling their own fears about change. Want to know how? Here are a few tips: Schedule your 3-3-7-30 system: check in 3 days, 3 more days, 7 days, and 30 days. Use templates so every message feels intentional yet repeatable. Remember: "no" or silence is often just fear. Your steady HSP presence is a service to your prospects.
