What's Happening with Heather I was recently in-person for a week of annual planning with my primary team members. This is a really special time because for 51 weeks we work virtually, so when we’re together IRL, not only do we get a lot of great work done in service to the HSP members of the Business Miracles community, but we get to bond by laughing, telling stories, and just being “water cooler” people for a week 😂 Over one of our team planning breakfasts, I shared a story about my early “aught” years in business and a type of bully trend that was popular in the coaching industry at that time. Another coach had put out this “toughen up” video that went viral, and I ended up sobbing in my therapist's office, questioning everything I was doing and how in the heck I’d ended up associated with this craziness. No surprise, it was soon after I discovered what it meant to be a Highly Sensitive Person and that I was one! That dark night of the soul changed everything for me. It was super uncomfortable, yet I am forever grateful I stayed with it and followed my own intuitive guidance to create the now over a decade of tools, teachings, and trainings for other HSPs desiring to be the exception to the rule and create business, leadership, and life success matched for their sensitive nervous system. This Week’s HSP Business Tip: Master Executive Functioning Through Your Neurodiversity Executive functioning (your ability to set goals, regulate emotions, and make decisions) must be trained differently as a Highly Sensitive Entrepreneur. Start here: 💡Separate wiring from shame. “Too sensitive” or “too slow” are socialized interpretations, not the truth. Differences are not deficits. 💡Regulate before you execute. Executive functioning includes emotional regulation. Protect white space, avoid stacking intensity, and plan around your energy cycles. 💡Anchor to your Results Map. Use your Choose Willingness Declaration and Baseline Beliefs as filters for decision-making. 💡Reject misaligned hustle. If a strategy creates chronic overwhelm, it’s not advanced; it’s incompatible. 💡Choose depth, sustainability, and regulation over urgency.
