what I’m reading, watching, listening to (and tools I’m using, too!)

Sdfsdf, even as so much of the world looks to blindly push forward to the end of this pandemic, I continue to take stock of where we've traveled over the last year. I've found that being willing to look at where you've come from is the best way to ensure a different experience as you go forward.

I continuously find myself saying to my Sweetheart Husband things like, "this time last year we were forced to live a part …" or "remember when you couldn't get a COVID test let alone vaccination …?" or "what do you see that's changed…?"

With that in mind, here's where I'm at this month …

1. What Has Happened Over The Past Year by Giulia McDonnell Nieto del Rio, John Eligon and Adeel Hassan (NY Times) – Talk about a review. I so appreciated really being able to track the intensity of what we've lived through over this past year. (This article is United States centered, yet I also know that versions of this intensity were being experienced world-wide.) For me, it highlights resilience. If we can stay conscious to what we've managed in one year's time, then we can choose differently for what we step into next.

2. How Minneapolis's Black-Owned Small Businesses Are Coming to Their Own Rescue by Cameron Albert-Deitch and Gabrielle Bienasz (Inc. Magazine) – Another view of not only resilience, but also community and collaboration. Though the struggles of the past year have impacted so many small businesses across the U.S and the world, they have also awakened a sense of connection that was dwindling away pre-pandemic. I definitely experienced a sense of confirmation to many of my own thoughts through this article.

1. Simone Biles makes history with Yurchenko double pike vault in return to competition at U.S. Classic (ESPN) – Holy smokes! Did you see this? This is gravitational defiance and athleticism at its finest (from someone who, admittedly, does not watch a lot of sports). If you haven't seen it is worth 17 seconds of your time.

2. Mare of Easttown (HBO Max) – In another realm (the world of acting athleticism), Kate Winslet delivers a performance of excellence like nothing I have seen in quite a long time. The story is gripping (though also definitely gritty), but to watch this cast led by Kate Winslet was worth the moments when I was gripping the couch and breathing deep to keep my nervous system from overloading.

1. Renegades Born In The USA (Spotify) – I know I'm late to the table on listening to this series, but I don't think it matters as much when you get to something, as what you receive from it once you get there. To the outside world, I am often a step behind; yet I've learned that my own rhythm has me exactly where I need to be at the divine right time, every time. And that for sure was my experience with this series.

To be a fly on the wall to two wise men having a deep conversation is valuable all by itself, but particularly these two men and their conversation, which stretches across their upbringings, love of music, racism in America and so much more that I found to be so utterly moving. I also really appreciated the consistent advertisements for men's razors and only truly hope more men were listening to this podcast series than women – please let that be true! :)

1. Belief Transformation Tool (BTT) – I recently re-led the entire Business Miracles Community of Highly Sensitive Entrepreneurs and Leaders through this tool that I've personally been using for years to up-level my own beliefs about what's possible, and to break years of ingrained familial patterns, especially when it comes to work and money. You CAN do less of it to have more of it – NOT what I was taught growing up AT. ALL.

As a result, many of my community members committed to 40-Days of a shared belief transformation process and so far the experience and results have been nothing but amazing! My team and I are even sharing our own group process, too.

Watch this video clip where I share guidance to help you retrain and unlock the part of your brain that is clinging to a limited view. You can find more in-depth information about how to work with and transform your limiting beliefs at www.businessmiraclesbtt.com.

I invite you to join in the energy! And if you are also ready to join the Community, then I invite you to go here to submit a form to talk to an Enrollment Coach and explore if Highly Sensitive Leadership Training is for you: www.claritycall.com

Hope you find something useful (or just plain fun) in these recommendations to support yourself with keeping it all moving forward during these Exceptional Times as a Highly Sensitive Entrepreneur and Leader.

I'd love to hear what you're reading, watching and listening to as well; I'm always open to being introduced to something new and will happily give you credit if it's something I end up latching onto. Just hit "reply" and let me know. :)

May we continue to reflect, review, and re-emerge even better - together.

In Faith,

XO. Heather
